It's more of a sign if he testifies he could perjure himself. MLB has a strong feeling he was getting PEDs for his Yankee years from the jailed Canadian Dr. Galea but the records are sealed. If they become unsealed they could have enough evidence to ban him for life.

He will make sure he stays in the public eye doing baseball-related do-gooder stuff in a hapless effort to try and rebuild his image. Expect him to dedicate a little league field in Fla...donate bats to kids in the DR...coach paraplegics in Mongolia...ya know...stuff like that?
Anyone who thinks they've heard the last of this guy will be sadly disappointed.

Even they get tired of that kind of cr@p.

Even they get tired of that kind of cr@p. The media will cover it as long as they think people will pay attention...and #13 seems like one of those people, like Rodman, Charlie Sheen, Lindsy Lohan (sp?), Mike Tyson, the Kardashians...you get the picture...who get coverage even when what they are doing is virtually inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Some reporter on some network will cover what he does.

Only thing he has left is a contract. He will not be a sports page discussion for the rest of 2014.

Jeter on A-Rod not coming to ST: "For us, we don't have to deal with it. It's over and done with. It's a situation that he has to deal with"

Barry is very popular in SF and welcomed back often by the Giants. #13 will not experience that.

Stories about #13 will not be in the news or sports sections - they'll be in the style or features section, easy to ignore.
