It is a shame that everyone ahead of the Rangers are winning as they are winning. It will be quite a task to overcome Boston, as Boston is 4 points up and has two games in hand. As their roommates, the Knicks, the Rangers are building something that might lead them to respectability again.

I don’t get the firing of Davidson.... coach shoulda been first .... we knew it was a rebuild so I had no unrealistic expectations

Sorry I am late to say RIP to the other #7 in my life, Rod Gilbert. He was a star on a team I loved as a kid. Gilbert, Ratelle and Hadfield were my guys.

Throw in a little Eddie Giacomin, Brad Park, etc., and it's a wonder how those guys never won a cup. They did knock out Montreal that one year, though ... that was like team USA beating Russia.
