Suppose you can say, mercifully, the season is over.
Overall, showed flashes of brilliance but the ability to stay composed with huge leads is something they are going to have to work on. Imagine how many more wins they would have if they held on to those +20 pt leads.
The utes finally got some chances to show off and Toppin began to blossom this season especially the last week or two. You can't score 35+ pts in this league, against any team, if you are not skilled. The ball moves better without Randle.
Curious how the off-season will play out....
will they trade Randle ? I have no problem with that.
will they let Robinson go ? Sims does pretty much the same and he has much better hands than Robbie and plays with more energy.
will they look for a bonafide PG or go with Quickley ? IQ seems to have raised his PG-IQ recently, maybe he is "an" answer. I would like them to give him and Mcbride a full season at the position with Rose as backup.
Will they keep Fournier or deal him ? He had his moments, but not enough of them .. It's okay if they keep him.
What about Burks ? I like him a lot - his smooth shot reminds me of Alan Houston. Play him as off-guard.
What about Barrett ? Extend him, NOW !!!
Thibs ?? I will give him another year and count it as a fresh start with what will be a heavily revamped team/rotation.
I still maintain that they need a veteran calming influence during high pressure moments and at end of games....not sure if they have one or he will come by trade/FA.
