Sorry to hear that. He did a good job with this unit. During the first half of the season the defensive guys were on the field for most of the game as the offense put up serial three and outs. No surprise about Kafka, the offense was awful and the play selection was very predictable (I know that Daboll called plays a lot). I hope the Giants can bring in some good guys to develop a better team.

He did a poor job. He was under contract for next year otherwise the Giants would have fired him.

It was such a pleasant surprise watching yesterday's game. The Jints played extremely well. I do have optimism for next season - any success will have to come from a healthy and efficient offensive line giving the QB time to do his thing.

The Week 1 thrashing at the hands of the Cowboys is something I will eventually need time with a good therapist to properly heal from. I had visions of grandeur dancing in my head all last offseason and that game gave me a thrashing and a mental crashing that was for the ages. They had a lot of close games and drove me crazy for much of the season.
I look forward to seeing how the GMEN put together the 2024 roster. I still have trust in Schoen and Daboll.

I wish to say congratulations to the Giants for winning their last game. I was a Giants fan so very long ago even though I lived in Lancaster county Pa. It was when Frank Gifford and Rosey Grier played. Then my son and my mother put me to Philadelphia. Some pressure there. I took my mom to her first professional football game in Philadelphia when she was in her early seventies. She liked all sports, especially Penn State. She was tough. She lived to be 105 until July 20, 2020. But something else, she was a Cowboys fan. I never understood why she wished me an Eagles fan. Perhaps because that Christmas she was planning on buying me a Starter Eagles jacket with a hood and the big silver eagle on the back, which she did. I can still picture my football card of Rosey Grier down in his tackle position.

Giants’ Daniel Jones ‘making good progress’ in ACL recovery with pivotal draft decision looming trib.al/0bBpYEV Going to be tough on Danny Dimes going forward, does not seem like many are in his corner and he is going to need a lot of support and self confidence to come back as the Giants starting QB. No answers from YankinIt right now as to how the GMEN should proceed at QB.

Those guys were incredible -- #s 74, 75 and 76, plus Lamar Lundy (86, I think). Even though in NY, I grew up a Rams fan and The Fearsome Foursome were the best. I was especially a big Deac fan and took #75 in high school. They weren't officially counting sacks in his day, but the Minister of Defense might have amassed more than anybody ever. He was such a weapon.

Good riddance.
Wink Martindale is free to sign elsewhere without restrictions, per source. The Giants will keep the $3 million he was owed.

I wonder if he could be a good fit for the Eagles? He couldn’t do any worse than Matt Patricia.

Is it time for a Giants 2024 thread, so we can move on?
Last night’s superbowl showed how far the Giants quarterback talent is from the league’s best. Not sure how to fix that
