I didn’t see the rationale for their decision. I do think EVs still aren’t ready to take over the market, especially because the infrastructure is not yet in place

You need to buy one with a tow hitch because of the high failure rate.

I won’t live long enough to see all EVs. Same can be said for all of us here.

Most don’t know they believe it’s a charger limitation while that’s true the larger limitation is our power grid. No way with our current grid build out we could charge all those vehicles. Huge technology advancements needed.

Interesting that there is bipartisan support for nuclear power research. It will be tough to convince the public

Hertz is currently holding a fire sale on all their EVs due to much higher maintenance costs in comparison to gas powered cars.

Software crashes or the small battery that keeps the car alive discharges or dies resulting in the car needing to be towed and fixed at the dealership.

Not to mention the occasional battery 🔥 or 🧨 . Toyota will get it right. Their Prius has a great record

Desperate Tesla owners in and around Chicago were seen trying to charge their vehicles with no luck amid frigid temperatures that have gripped the Midwest.
Charging stations have essentially turned into car graveyards in recent days as temperatures have dropped to the negative double digits

With temps like that, I reckon many gas-powered vehicles haven’t been able to start.

With temps like that, I reckon many gas-powered vehicles haven’t been able to start. True, but at least they didn’t have the problem of not being able to get fueled

With temps like that, I reckon many gas-powered vehicles haven’t been able to start. Yes but a pair of cables or a AAA membership can get you going.. Was -14 yesterday. Fortunately for 1st time in life I have a garage.
