Rizzo, another E. Perhaps he just doesn’t feel right. Something is wrong. But, he scooped that one. It’s early.

Calbrera definitely is batting great. I know Knucks feels he isn’t an everyday day, which may be true, I enjoy the days he does play

Volpe seems to have lost his patience. He’s a much better player when he waits for a pitch he can hit.

This is a whole different offensive looking team than last two weeks. Striking out too many times now, and hitting into DP. Just the same way like last year.
Agree Volpe looking impatient at plate now. Judge has hit rocked bottom with Ks and DPs the last several games.
I didn’t agree with moving Volpe to top spot yet.

Folks won’t like what I say, Os way better than this team right now. Until we get Cole and DJ back and couple of guys start hitting, we can play with them.

I agree with dtwenthree. They seem to have reverted back to the homer it bust team and they are busting

The last few games have smelled a lot like 2023 and it doesn't make me hungry.

I feel Rizzo and Volpe are not batting smart. Rizzo is starting to look like Donaldson at bat. He should learn from Stanton. Stanton does his share of swinging for the fences and striking out, but he does more situational hitting, e.g. taking a walk or hitting a single. I feel Volpe is often swinging out of his shoes. That’s not Yankees need. They need a guy to get on base before Soto and Judge bat.
In the top of the ninth with men on first and third, Volpe’s job is to get the go ahead run home. He has been hitting well, but again he’s swinging for the fences and pops up. A bunt would have gotten the job done. Fortunately Judge came through.

Can’t get swept to AL East rival especially with tie breaking rules. Huge win.
Trevino is now next hot hitter after Soto..

I'm happy.
That my well-developed dream/plan had Judge breaking out in his faux 62-home run Bobblehead day Saturday, I'm OK with this sneak preview.
