This game sucked. We should've won if our hitters resembled anything that can hit a fly ball. They earned this win and our offense lost it for our bullpen and couldn't manage one run to catch Mo's back who will probably blame it on himself. Good job offense. Oh well still 2 games ahead so it eases the pain.

1) You can't win em all.
2) It's hard to beat the defending World Series Champs AND their team of loyal umpires.
3) We didn't lose any ground in the East because of the Boston loss.
4)THE BRIGHT SIDE: Yanks lost to the White Sox. Boston lost to the ROYALS. We'll get to play KC at some point and Boston will have a tough game.
I'm going to bed happy with a 2 run lead in the East.

TOUGH L, but we got some unexpected help, so not all bad.

Another bright side, that should be the toughest pitcher we face in the series.

games like this f**k**g sting my eyes...Giambi's DP in the first, Posada's DP later, runners stranded at 3rd with less than 2 outs...I could feel the lost opportunities mounting during the game...regardless, we had Mo on the mound in the 9th with a lead. We shoulda won...

I don't want to put any more blame on Alex Rodriguez, but man, he should have caught that foul ball from Dye. Anyway, GO ALEX!
