11 pitch inning. 81 through 6.
That should be it for Rasner with 2 Lefties to start the 7th and myers warmed up. No sense pushing Rasner when he's only a week or so removed from the DL.

3 hits for Robbie. Pour it on and let's see Dotel and Veras finish the game.

do we move A-Rod to clean up or leave well enough alone Depends on how Giambi is feeling. His 3 BB make A-Rod even more dangerous as the #5 hitter.

I've been arguing with a red sox fan on another site about Damon. The other guy claims Damon will be lucky to have a good 2007 and will have nothing left for 2008.
Looking at Damon's #'s this season compared to last season: He needs 16 R, 2 2B and 2 RBI to match his 2005 totals. He has, of course, set a career high with 22 HR. He has also surpassed his 2005 totals for BB and SB. Everything but his BA will improve from 2005 and I can easily live with his .298 BA this year.
I also pointed out that 147 of Damon's 148 games last year were as the CF. This season, he has started 15 games at DH. HUGE difference.

Damon has joined Musial and Gehrig as the only players with 9 straight 30 2B 100 R seasons.
