Hey BTB Gang,
It's that time again. This year marks the 20th anniversary of our Reunion games. I've been in contact with the Yankees and have a date on hold.
The proposed date for this year's Reunion game is Saturday, July 28th, 1:05pm vs. the Kansas City Royals.
We are dealing with a relatively small window of time to secure the order, so please check your calendars and let me know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE how many tickets you will be committing to. (You can respond to this post or to the e-mail I sent to past attendees. Tickets will be $23 apiece.) I will have to give the Yankees a hard number of tickets requested in the next few days and then put down a deposit.
Thanks for your cooperation, and hopefully, see you all in July!

My two favorite days of the year are the day Brian posts this message and the Reunion Day itself. I fully plan to attend. Let me check with my two offspring and give you a head count shortly. Thank you, Brian. You do such a great thing every year for so many people. For 20 years!!!!!!

The angle is much less drastic. Doesn’t have the same feel as the old place. You can always take her back to the walkways. Plenty of stuff to buy her.

Guys, I spoke to the Yankees today and reserved our tickets for the Reunion Game. When we were about to finalize everything, I was informed of something that I believe I should run by all of you before I seal the deal. I was told this year the Yankees are employing Dynamic Pricing on Group Sale tickets, which basically means they can change (raise) the price depending on market conditions, such as day of the week, demand, and opposition's popularity. If you care, you can read the policy here: m.mlb.com/yankees/tickets/info/dynamic-pricing-faqLong story short, we have seats again in the Outfield Grandstand, but instead of being $22-$23 apiece as they have been the last few years, they have been "dynamically priced" at $32 apiece. I know in the grand scheme of things it's only $10, but some BTBers bring their whole families and it can add up. The reason I've always gotten our seats in the Upper Deck was to keep cost from preventing people from attending. If anyone wants to change their minds based on the new pricing, please inform me ASAP and I will remove you from the final tally. I hope it won't affect any of us, but I wanted you all to know before I agreed to pay a price increase on your behalves. I am going to finalize with the Yankees tomorrow. Still hope to see everyone in July! BrianB

Not cool, Giancarlo.
I wonder what's happening to moat seats pricing?
Those poor 1 percenters. The horror.
Still want 2, Brian. Hope the game is as "dynamic" as the pricing.

“Dynamically Priced” = Bend Over. Just when I was starting to come back. “only” $10 is almost a 50% increase.

Fans need to fight back on this one. Your price is your price. Dickheads. Jacking it up in the post is one thing but this is nuts. Next we will be paying more if it's warm and sunny.
