I did something tonight that I never do. I turned the game off. I had seen enough of this garbage. I would have pulled Gary Sanchez out right in the middle of the inning. I’m done with his BS. If you don’t want to play take a seat. Also, what’s up with Gio all of a sudden?

But when the Yankees go through stretches like this, it's awful to watch. Bad baseball. Bad product. Night after night. Nope.

It’s not even so much the loses, it’s the way they are losing. They haven’t even been in these games. Unwatchable for me. I’d rather watch a scrappy upstart team trying to find their way than this garbage. And anyone who questions anyone else’s fandom here is an @$$hole

I can't believe Sanchez's botched tag of the runner at home plate.

I have been watching Yankee baseball since 1956, and that was the single worst defensive play I have seen in all those 65 years. The worst in 65 years.

Considering your long memory lefty, that is saying a lot.
I saw the replay with audio....there was one quick mention that Gary should have made the play, but most of the talk was on how the runner faked out Gary by staying high and then sliding low........sometimes (okay, quite often), the booth really pi$$es$ me off with their one-sided comments..........

Horrible play (which I thankfully missed, attending a show at The Cap).
But I still blame Buster Posey

I think they do enough to get a wildcard and hopefully win but I see another lifeless playoff series loss.

I think they do enough to get a wildcard and hopefully win but I see another lifeless playoff series loss. Last year's playoff loss was not lifeless, though given the bizarreness of the season, you may not be referring to that one. Had Boone (and the analytics people) not replaced Garcia with Happ, a resurgent Stanton might have carried us to a series win over Tampa.

Am I wrong when I say Boone and the Analytics Gang defy the senses of some of us who've been watching baseball for half a century? They deserve to lose for some of these robot-like no-feel-for the game decisions that we're witnessing on a nightly basis. I used to keep my mouth shut on the day after a bad managerial decision cost the Yankees a game. But that was when a gut decision took a bad turn. What we're witnessing now defies 100 years of baseball fundamentals. To try to get 14 year old demographics to watch a 4 hour baseball game? Dear Lord, that's assinine and never happening.

Is it still unacceptable to blame the man who assembled this team?

Is it still unacceptable to blame the man who assembled this team? I think so. And do we still owe Gary an apology?

I don't think it was Boone either. Nor do I think he's had a bad year. I've said it before. The less the Yankees hit, the stupider Boone gets.
