Aaron Boone had a talk with Gleyber Torres after Tuesday night's game. Boone was not happy that Torres made another error on a routine grounder, this one in his second game since he was moved from shortstop to second base. Boone also was upset that Torres didn't run hard to first base on a seventh-inning groundout. Boone could have send another tough-love message today, but Torres is in the Yankees' lineup. -- Randy Miller

Hey that’s what I need to see from Boone. We be seen it few times already.
What about Giancarlo? He gets a pass because of his leg issues in the past for taking it easy on his legs when he grounds it out?

Gary isn’t a free agent till after next season. Catchers don’t grow on trees. The marriage will continue. No quality FA catchers are available.

He's still a hot button. He got booed in the first for the double play ball, but it was driven -- unfortunately right at the second baseman. No one booed the home run

Besides a couple minor misplays, he's been perfectly fine in the OF. Not sure where the narrative that he's some terrible defender started. I know it's a small sample, but he seems to be hitting better since he started playing out there too.

My stance on Stanton has changed.
1) I like him better as he started playing the OF.
2) it’s been brought to my attention that he handles NY quite well as opposed to some A-Hole crosstown baseball players.
3) Can’t fault a man for getting a good deal.

I know it's a small sample, but he seems to be hitting better since he started playing out there too. He looked out of place in left field in Spring Training a few years ago, when we first got him, as he's always been a right fielder. Then injury issues kept him away. He's been fine in either corner.

I like Gallo, Judge, Stanton in the OF. Totally agree and no offense to Gardy, his contributions recently have been timely and well needed, but he's best served off the bench. Would just love to see the lineup once with Voit at DH, GJS in the OF an infield of Riz/Glyb/Gio & DJ with Sancho behind the dish. Pretty sure it hasnt happened yet
