Per Aaron Boone: Tommy Kahnle will throw a live tomorrow. Nick Burdi went to Somerset to throw a pen today. Jon Berti is playing another rehab game tonight. JT Brubakaer is on track to be a summer option. I don’t recognize the name JT Brubakaer Wasn't he played by Robert Redford in a movie 20 years ago?

My boy Rumfield (ex Hokie). isn’t doing a great job making his case to be promoted with a 32% strikeout rate.

I never expected us to be in this terrible 26 man roster like we had last year and just stunned we’re at it again this time. Granted injuries has hurt the roster but that is what is to expect. And when you don’t PH Grisham a lefty vs lefty and still have 4 players on the bench speaks volume how bad Cash has made the roster for couple of weeks.

I think he believes DJ and Beri will save the day. He might be right, but they both seem to be made of glass

Berti isn’t saving the day. He has a balky back. DJ who knows? Maybe Peraza beats them both back.

Boone said that he has exchanged text messages with Kahnle, who is said to be “pretty excited about where he’s at now physically. He feels like it’s getting to where it needs to be.”

Berti seems like another one of those frumpy white guys the Yankees love to have around.
Friar isn't all that impressed.
DJLM is most likely finished. Its strange to say, but he's got a lot to prove.

Surprised to hear Boone reply to a question yesterday as to whether or not DJ is ready for a rehab stint in the minors, "I don't know."

At least Berti is only for one year. I guess Cashman wanted to get something for Rortverdt. DJ’s, Hick’s and Stanton’s contracts are uglier

I like Berti - he'll help us out, especially with DJLM's status being so questionable.

Nick Burdi (@swbrailriders) in his first rehab inning: 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K (third strikeout was on an automatic strike but he would have struck him out anyway 😂)
He hit 98.8 MPH with his FB (averaged 98.0)
