I mentioned in a couple of earlier threads that there best pitcher might be in the bullpen. David Price is the real deal. He will be in their rotation next year. I don't know who won't....but he certainly will. Unfortunately, they don't have many glaring holes that would make them interested in dealing any of their arms......time to get better......Hank....Hal.....Cash......make it a fun winter for us....ok?

we have our work cut out for us in the AL East, boys... You heard it here first: The TB Rays will NOT be the team to beat next season...... I would suggest that the Yanks just concern themselves with putting a winning product out there rather worrying about who is the team to beat. Frankly, I don't think the Rays, Sox, or the Jays are too worried about the Yankees anymore !!

Will David Price have a season pitch limit like the Yankees do to our guys?

Will David Price have a season pitch limit like the Yankees do to our guys? The Price rules? I doubt it. Yanks have to cut the cord with these kids. Enough already.

At least in Brooklyn they're out in the open. They're all uptight and in the closet in NH.

AB, I knew you were kidding because when are you not? It is upsetting to me to find out there are gays in Brooklyn. When my wife and I were in New York we got on the wrong train out of the Wall Street area and went all the way to the end of the line because I'm from the south and my wife wouldn't take my correct opinion but rather that of a perfect stranger who she asked for directions. Stubbornness is a scary thing. We saw a lot of young men get on the subway and they were pretty scary, like from a Spike Lee movie. I'm surprised to hear they were gay! A real eye opener for us out of towners.

This team is scary good for the next 10 years. We have our work really cut out for us. Back on topic for a moment. Frankie? Can I have some of that peyote you're smokin? 10 Years??? You really think Tampa Bay is going to go LONG TERM with any of those guys and actually build a franchise to be proud of....and risk BOTH Draft Choices and revenue sharing money....in the political world known as "preading the wealth" In MLB known as "Taking George's Money" 2 years MAYBE....and wasn't it you that said Tampa was going NO WHERE this season? ? I think you may have gotten blood poisoning from the Aqua Ink, you're talking silly my friend!

I think you may have gotten blood poisoning from the Aqua Ink, you're talking silly my friend! Hold on Bernz. First of all, AB was the one to call Tampa dead! Of course NONE of us thought that Tampa would do what they did this year, at the beginning of the year. Second, Longoria, Crawford, Price, Kazmir, Garza, and Pena are all signed for the next 3 or 4 years. Some are beyond that. If they dont break up this team ,because they are cheap, this team will be a team to reckon with for the next 10 years. They are light years ahead of the Yankees and Red Sox, in terms of young talent.

if they re-sign all those guys "when they are up in 3 to 4 years" their payroll will be $250MM. You really think that's gonna happen Fredo?
its how the Yankee payroll got so high- we gave Jeter, Mariano, Posada, Pettitte, Bernie about $450MM to stick around...then threw in free agents...voila- $200MM+ payroll.

It wont happen, and thats the sad part.
But as long as those guys are on that team. They are very dangerous.
