Call me what you want. But this is why I have such a hard time rooting for our $275,000,000 3rd baseman. Where there's smoke...and there has been plenty of smoke around this guy.

...not " again" there has to be a way to void his contract now !! Unlikely. But he can get Suspended without pay eventhough he hasn't failed a test.

It is time for Selig to go Judge Landis on these guys. Invoke the "best interest of the game" clause. Fight the Players Union, this is a fight worth fighting and a fight baseball can win. It is time to draw the line in the sand

I believe MLB already used those chips to get blood testing. MLB having those samples is huge because we know testing always improves over time.
Maybe the next step is a dramatic increase to a failed test penalty. Melky for example will look like a smuck if he returns to pre 2011 form.

It is time to draw the line in the sand Tar, they're all in it together. The steroids era took baseball out of the void after the strike. As long as everybody's making money, Selig will continue to do just enough to make it look like MLB gives a crap, but they don't.

Too bad Afraud won't just retire like Manny did. That would be best for everybody. He'll stay though and collect that ridiculous contract and give us NOTHING in return.

If the allegations are true his contract will be worthless to him. Have to let it play out. No doubt MLB investigators will get to the truth.

bit.ly/T6ZJtP According to MLB Trade rumors, the Yankees are already looking for ways to void Arod's contract. Whether or not they can actually pull that off remains to be seen.

Don't believe those reports. Only MLB can take action.
