Yankees pitcher Alfredo Aceves hit with 50-game ban for a second positive drug test
The 31-year-old pitcher has an 0-1 record for the Triple-A RailRiders and an ERA of 3.49. He was briefly called up to the Bronx this season where he posted a 1-2 record and 6.52 ERA.

Alfredo Aceves appears in 10 games with the Yankees this season, going 1-2 with 6.52 ERA. It’s been a tough week for the Yankees.
The Bronx Bombers are on a five-game slide and now one of their minor leaguers got hit with a suspension.
Alfredo Aceves, a right-handed pitcher for Triple-A affiliate, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, has been hit with a 50-game suspension without pay after a second positive drug test, according to the organization.
The 31-year-old pitcher has an 0-1 record for the RailRiders and an ERA of 3.49. He was briefly called up to the Bronx this season where he posted a 1-2 record and 6.52 ERA.
Aceves has volleyed between the Yankees and Red Sox organizations intermittently since 2008.
The suspension is effective immediately.

Well, if he can prove he was in Colorado or Washington when he smoked it, it's legal...wasn't he on the roster when we were last in the great northwest?
