I don't have a subscription to MSG, but sometimes their games come through, like last night. Not sure why. Then, I am like Joey and Chandler and don't change channels afraid I will lose the feed This may be going over the top, but some stretches of the games their defense reminds me of the Oakley and Ewing days. Of course, there are times they are spectators watching guys come down the paint for uncontested dunks !! Oak and Patrick would have laid them out........ Growing process, but I am enjoying the current team so much more than in the last SEVERAL years !! GOOOOOOOOKNICKS !!

frustrating west coast trip...they could have won all 4 games, or, could they have ?? Following the last 4 games, I came away with the following perspective: Game in and game out, Championship teams are ready to play 4+ quarters; wannabe championship teams hang in for about 3+ quarters......these Knicks seem to be "there" for about 2 quarters overall..they may beat a good team once in a while, but no playoff bound team in a series..they need a floor general...could be Barrett, if they let him. As committed to team play they say Randle is now, too often the ball goes to him and dies with him......brings back horrifying memories of LJ or Mason !!! They are not in ANY position to land a Superstar, they could start lower....after being "connected with interest" in Lonzo Ball over time, now that he has been declared to be on the block, they are salivating over an oldie and not such a goodie Derrick Rose........who the hell is running this team

Rose? Really? .... I haven’t heard that ....I’d be pissed ....Barrett seems more comfortable..... the coach is the reason to believe something good can happen here ...

Looks like they are getting Rose back.....for Dennis Smith.....at least they are not giving up valuable assets

Knicks offer apparently was the best Pistons got...says a lot about Rose’s game now.
If he can provide scoring and composure in the end game, that would help.
Just don’t want to see Quickley’s development slow down.

Unless they have a huge lead going into the last couple of minutes, they cannot seem to win a close contest........loss of composure, no confidence in their shots.......I think it is because the team overall does not have a winning culture...as if they are almost afraid to win the tough games.......

Coach seems to be making a difference

lately, they have been fun to follow.....end games are more tight with Rose (and Quickley) in the game.
Randle has been playing so well. No way they should include him any trade !!!
Wouldn't mind Drummond - that would really solidify the middle. Robinson and Noel are thin as rails.
Defense continues to excel - yes, the coach is a huge factor and the players are listening to him.
Something they have to work on is fast breaks, which are pretty much non-existent. When the game picked up pace tonight, they were scrambling around and could not score. They are not made for an uptempo game.

Randle is huge in mire ways then one .... he’s a big chip ...I’m not saying they should trade him but teams will want him ... Rose is a plus .... shame Knox and nilitkina were wasted picks

It does not make sense to me to trade Randle. They are not going to get a superstar for him, without gutting the team and future picks. Otherwise, it would be trading one scorer for another. He really is meshing well with the younger players. I say, let him be.
Going back to last night's game, I was impressed with the way Quickley was penetrating and then dishing out for a score. He did that a few times. Must be a Rose influence because I do not recall him doing that before Rose.
Toppin looks lost out there. He needs them to draw up a play designed for him that he can go to a couple of times a game.

also, after some miserable shooting in the 2nd and 3rd, Barrett hit crucial 3s late in the 4th. Kinda reminds of Dick Barnett, without the backward leg kick.

Randle trade would garnish picks and lose a contract .... they don’t want a player .... I’d live to see Knox gone ...

Living in Virginia, I don't get to see the Knicks much. What's the deal with Quickley. He seems to play 10-15 minutes per game and gets about 10 points per game. Are they bringing him alone slowly, blocked by someone else, or is there some reason for this. I would love to hear some insights from those of you who get to watch regularly. Thanks.

Bringing him along slowly for development purposes. Talent is obvious. Clunker last night. Like all rookies he's had his ups and downs.
