Listed as a catcher, but is playing a lot of 3rd base. Currently in Tampa but he continues to hit well at every level (power AND average). I think he’s ready for A+.

This guy can hit!!!
.366 with a .993 OPS since his promotion to Hudson Valley. Not on anyone’s list but mine.
My advice to him would be just keep hitting and don’t listen to anyone:especially the batting coach telling you about launch angles.

Looks like you didn’t read the Yankees Top 50 prospects report I posted. At age 21 he’s opened eyes. Let’s see if he can take the next step.

We had a catcher named Jesus Montero. We anticipated him becoming the savior. Christmas turned into April fools.

I remember that 2 cents has been touting Jesus Rodriguez for quite a while.

He only catches on occasion. Don’t know how the Yankees view him defensively.

We had a catcher named Jesus Montero. We anticipated him becoming the savior. Christmas turned into April fools. I was so upset when the Yankees traded him to Seattle. Turned out the trade didn’t work out for either team. The last I saw he played for Águilas del Zulia in the Venezuelan league in 2021. Baseball is a tough sport

I remember that 2 cents has been touting Jesus Rodriguez for quite a while. I love when a player succeeds in spite of the odds. Poor guy is only 5’9”, but he has been hitting at every level (usually after a short adjustment)
