Picked up Ocean's 12 last week, and was excited because we loved Ocean's 11.
In a word, I thought the movie was mediocre.
Also bought Meet the Fockers, and got a few good laughs out of it. Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand made the movie. There are some pretty funny moments in it.

Goo, the missus and I rented the Fockers last night. Agree with what you said.
I highly recommend Fever Pitch for anyone interested.

Not familiar with Fever Pitch. I'll check it out.
I like this off topic forum. The way my team's playing, I'm not much into talking Yankees right now.

I agree about Meet the Fockers. Before watching the movie I didn't though that it could be as funy as the first one. Sometimes, the second parts of funny films aren't very good. But this one was very good. Very well done. Like you said Goo, Hoffman and Streisand made the movie. Hoffman was soo funy! Poor Gaylord! Lol!
There have been very good ones out there on DVD. The last great movie I recently saw was Hotel Rowanda, at least the one I remember at the moment. If you wanna see a great movie about a true story, see this one. Great one, and you can see how God can use you to make great things, even when you resist at first. See it!

Hey Mike, Tell the truth how much of yourself do you see in the main character of Fever Pitch? I think we all see a bit of ourselves. With our own teams of course!

Goo, unless you're thinking of jumping ship for RSN, you may want to skip Fever Pitch.

Yeah, once I realized what movie it was, I knew it would never make my machine at home Dave.
Besides, I think Drew Barrymore peaked in Firestarter.

Ah, Drew looked fine in the Charlie's Angels movies, although she was clearly the 3d banana of the group. ;D

Phil, I think this guy is way more fanatical than I am. First of all, I don't act that crazy (check out the "spring training scene"). Second, if I still lived in the Boston area, I would never be able to afford to go to that many games. I'm sure there are people who are in the stands for all 81, but I simply couldn't do it. As far as his apartment goes, I don't have that much on display, but since buying our house (if any of you are in the Denver area and need a place to stay, please let me know), I've taken one of the extra bedrooms and dubbed it The Man Cave. ;D I'm slowly but surely converting it into a baseball room. It's the only room my wife stays out of!!!

The main character in the movie, Jimmy Fallon, is actually a big Yankee's fan in real life. It just goes to show you that Yankee fans can convert to the better side if the right price is involved. ;D

I haven't seen the movie yet but it does look entertaining. I do like baseball movies.

Drew Barrymore is hot! But now the bad part... I feel like a pedophile for saying that since I've watched her from Firestarter & ET Though I didn't have those feelings then...only since her playboy pictorial about a DECADE ago...now I'm really feeling old Does that make me a sicko? (she has been divorced twice now?)

No, but it does make you officially old, Bernz! ;D
I still get a kick out of her flashing Letterman some years ago.
But, Lucy Liu is much hotter. GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Was it really that good? The special effects look pretty good from what I saw on TV, Knux. My wife and Christian are heading to Cleveland for the weekend so I plan on taking in a movie. I would like to see House of Wax or Kingdom of Heaven. Anyone see these yet or have another suggestion?? Thanks.

I saw [glow=red,2,300]Crash[/glow] over the weekend. I won't say I disliked it but it made me realise how many sickos there are in this world. Nobody came out of the theatre smiling. I would wait for it to come on to one of the movie stations or rental.

The last time I was in a movie theater, I saw Seabiscuit. LOL Shows how long it's been, but that's the last film I thought worthy spending my *hard-earned dollars* on (don't laugh, you-know-who). I rarely see any of the main-stream Hollywood offerings 'cause I much prefer "independent" / foreign films.

Meet the Fockers did have some hilarious moments.
I have to say that thus far the best movies I rented in the last 2-3 months was "Sideways". I found this to be a very funny movie! Great story imo... Two great roles by the two men...

We saw Sideways recently too. Very amusing movie, well done, and Virginia Madsen is still a babe.
