Green Acres star Eddie Albert has past away from pnuemonia at the age of 99. My condolences go out to his family.

Saw that yesterday, and the article really shed light on what a great humanitarian he often was during his life....good actor too...R.I.P.

And the theme song for that show is one that will wake my boys from time to time. Zsa Zsa was a babe.
Eddie had a long and fruitful life. Great job in "The Longest Day" et al.

Sad to see him go, but he had a nice long, productive life. One of my fav shows as a kid ~ I thought it was Eva Gabor ??

He was in both Rip. The Longest Day being a chronicle of the Normandy Invasion featuring a cast of some of the days biggest names.
If I'm not mistaken Eddie Albert took "Omaha beach" with Robert Mitchum as his superior.

You're correct, goo. "The Longest Day" was based on the book by Cornelius Ryan. I highly recommend both. Perhaps not as realistic as the first 20 min. of "Saving Private Ryan," but an excellent account of D-Day.
