Even the Red Sox fans here!
Friar isn't a Dad, but none of us would be anywhere without them.
GF and BBT will be in Indy for the USGP this weekend, watching some F1 racing and golf and baseball on the tube. Have a great weekend, Y'all!

This Fathers Day will be a bit different for a few of us here on BTB. I wish you all a Happy Fathers Day. Please check out my tribute to our dads. While I am not a dad myself I consider you all my kids. Now where are my gifts. ;D www.allsports.com/mlb/yankees/dad.htm

Friar & BBT, as you know I'm extremely jealous...but as I said on the phone, It's my own fault, bad negotiation on my part.... Phil, You know I'm thinking of you and your family that day, The tribute was awsome...and If I ever get Casey's info on the other subject we spoke of a few weeks back, I'll get it over to you....You know, you can never find good help these days [shadow=blue,left,300]BernzAMatic[/shadow]

Great Tribute, Phil. My throat got a little tight reading it. This will be my second father's day and we are heading back to PA to visit my family. My sister is visiting them from Las Vegas, so this will be the first time my sister and I have been home together since 1998. Should be a great Father's Day. When I got home from work yesterday, I noticed a box on the front porch with a return address from The Baseball HOF in Cooperstown. Looks like Christian did a little online shopping for daddy. I wish that I hadn't seen the box, oh well at least I didn't see what was in it. Happy Father's Day to everyone, and to those whose fathers are no longer with us, you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Very nicely done, Phil. Even after 16 years, this (and his birthday) is still tough for me. You guys who still have your fathers, cherish every moment. Brian, Christian obviously is getting the message early. Good for him and you.

Well said David, John Lennon said it best "Life is what happens to you whe you're busy making other plans." I know what you mean Brian, my sister lives in Calyfornia, we haven't had a Fathers Day together in years. Although my dad visited her there a couple of dad's days. Remember if any of you guys want to share photos the offer is always open.

Very touching Phil. My thoughts and prayers go out to those with heavy hearts on Sunday. I have often quoted my Father on this board, and with good reason. I don't even want to think about losing my Dad. Have a great day to all! Weather around here on Sunday is supposed to be cloudless and mid-seventies. Beer drinking weather!

Well said and well done, Phil.
I hope you and your family get on OK on what must be an especially tough day for you this year.
Father's Day for me this year was spent with the family at a magical little place called StoryLand in Glen, NH (near North Conway). All the fun and magic of DisneyWorld at a FRACTION of the price and no annoying mouse either (but a heck of a whole lot of chipmunks!).
