The Yankees have 6 top 100 prospects according to @kileymcd of ESPN
21. Jasson Domínguez 56. Spencer Jones 60. Roderick Arias 69. Will Warren 81. Chase Hampton 82. Austin Wells
Ranking Will Warren at this time over Chase Hampton I agree with. Will I’m certain is MLB ready with Hampton not far behind.
Spring Training will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I don’t think people realize how tough it is to maintain a strong pipeline the way the Yankees have when you consider that they routinely pick near the bottom of drafts and trade several prospects almost annually for MLB talent.
Their scouting/player dev systems are quite good.

I don’t think adequately address the likelihood of injuries as players age Sadly young players also get hurt. It just not limited to players over 30. Nobody knows the answer beyond the human arm is not built to throw 95mph + pitchers. That’s why you need depth. Contingency plans are vital.

Arms are a crap shot, but missing Rodon’s back issues seems surprising.

I was quite surprised by the Martian's injury - not that common for a young position player.
I read all the posts here on BTB. Our members are so knowledgeable and well-informed. Also extremely witty.

Could be why Yankees appear to want him to go through a full rehab versus returning once he can swing the bat normally. I understand he’s already started a throwing program. Expected to start some hitting soon.
