When Jacob and I came up for the BTB Reunion last summer, you may recall we had a midnight meal on Friday night at Katz's. There was a long wait, even at that insane hour. If we decide to eat some pastrami this summer, we'll have to try Second Avenue. It was always my boss's favorite deli on his trips to NY. (He grew up on Long Island and is a connoisseur of good food.)

Never had one, but corned beef yes. I guess that’s a normal N.Y. City price. The deli looks great! Last time I was in the city was around 1992.

I ended up getting a corned beef sandwich at Katz's, and Jacob got the brisket. Pastrami for sure on the next trip.
John, that's an excellent offer!!!!

I often want to try ordering a Reuben with corned beef, but always end up getting pastrami. I love pastrami.
Besides corned beef has its own holiday 😏
