Does anybody understand their plans.l?
I had Sprint for years and stayed on with T-mobile when they acquired them. My monthly charges were $117 before equipment charges for two phones. My 30 month payment for the phones expires in 5-months so I been looking to see who has the best deal, including getting new phones.
I went to the store yesterday, to better understand what I have now, since it is a legacy plan. The sales person convinced me to get their top plan Go 55+ because it’s $110 ( or $100 with auto pay). I was actually of considering get the plan through Costco for people 55 and older which is $27 per line. It turns out that’s essentially the same plan I have, but pay twice as much for.
Attractive features of the plan are: -full 5G when I use a personal hot spot as opposed to 3G -free international data (currently have buy a data pass which is $5/day or $50 per month with limited data) - free Netflix and Apple+ - $850 trade-in value for my phones as opposed to $330
One of my daughters uses Google and I’m going to compare hers with mine in April when visit her. I actually was considering switching their Internet, but my computer geek brother-in-law said I won’t be happy.
So I’m stuck with my decision for 5 months, but I’m interested in what other members use.

I switched from AT&T to Verizon about two years ago. I’m happy with Verizon. But there are better deals out there particularly through AARP.

Ditto with Yankinit. Plus I get MLB.TV for free. I don’t see that on the benefits they list. Maybe it changed?

I saw they give Netflix standard, which has ads
I was going to watch a movie on Amazon Prime and it says I now have to watch ads if I don’t pay another $2.99 month.
Getting less than you got before unless you want to pay more is the new thing

i enjoyed it in the past as well but it was not available in 2023. I had it for free. Hope it hasn’t changed for 2024. T-Mobile and Major League Baseball (MLB) have announced the renewal of their partnership, which includes offering free MLB.TV subscriptions to T-Mobile subscribers until 2028. Please let me know when you see this. I just canceled my auto renewal. Good thing since it would have renewed March 1. Plus I cheated out last year and only got the Yankees

Glad to know the partnership has been renewed and I’ll keep getting MLB.TV for free. Obviously, a major perk for us BTBers. I watch on my Firestick, which I take with me when I’m on the road. I also use it to listen to games on my phone while I’m driving, as the audio is also included.

I like that I can have it on my IPad when the wife and I are watching a movie I don’t really enjoy 😉

Of course we are 73 and 78 and members of AARP, so this gives us another break, but we just switched from AT&T to Consumer Cellular and saved over $100 a month, two phones unlimited calling and text. And the people at Target from Consumer Cellular were very helpful. I understand that they operate off the same towers as AT&T. The bill is $61.75 a month for both.

We won’t let you miss it 2 cents! Thanks. Being limited to ESPN, Fox and Amazon televised Yankee games would be depressing ☹️
