On March 18th I’m scheduled to have an implantable cardioverter defibrillator device implanted at Penn Hospital. Normally it’s an outpatient procedure with release later that day. Expect to have driving restrictions for about one week post procedure.
The device addresses heart rhythm. When the device senses a dangerous heart rhythm the device gives my heart a shock.
My brother in law had this done about three months ago and feels much better. 🙏

My brother-in-law has something similar and he’s a new man. Glad modern technology is turning you into BtB’s bionic man! I’m are you’re going to be fine.

As always, I hope it is fast, painless and 110% effective.
I had a physical last Friday. Once you get over 50 it takes on a different tone.

As always, I hope it is fast, painless and 110% effective. I had a physical last Friday. Once you get over 50 it takes on a different tone. I think every 10 year anniversary after 30 takes a different tone. I remember when I was 30 the doctor told almost everyone is great when they’re 30. They said it’s amazing the change when they come in at 40. (I aimed to please and gained significant weight and had high cholesterol for my 40 year physical, resulting in a significant change in diet)
