It's Oswaldo's birthday.
I wonder if Vivas's excellent Spring threatens Cabrera's status as backup infielder/utility player? I don't believe Jorbit plays third? Peraza could fill the role, but he needs to perform better.
Josh VanMeter is doing the bulk of backup @ third, but I don't think he's expected to be a candidate to head North.

Oswald Peraza “still has some pinching” in his throwing shoulder when he tries to throw across the infield, Aaron Boone said. Yankees still believe the issue is minor, no tests planned.

Oswald Peraza “still has some pinching” in his throwing shoulder when he tries to throw across the infield, Aaron Boone said. Yankees still believe the issue is minor, no tests planned. If I was Oswaldo, I'd consider it major enough. Can't win a job at the infirmary.
