Per the Yankees, second baseman Jorbit Vivas was scratched from today's lineup vs. Mets due to a face contusion suffered during pregame activity.
Examined by NYY medical staff, Vivas did not have concussion symptoms but has been taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.
