Hopefully the under performers on the team will turn around shortly and DJ may come back on fire.
What does the minors have to offer?
Caleb Durbin- plays second base and shortstop. High OBP and good speed. He is draft 5 eligible in December, so I think he’s worth a try.
Everson Pereira - fields well and is hitting for power in the minors. Strikes out WAY too much 36%, but maybe a better choice than Gisham T.J. Rumfield - great fielding first baseman, but concern with his bat Catching prospects aren’t ready yet

Not much that we haven’t seen already or pitchers that are being developed as starters.
Yorlin Calderon is a 22 year old that was moved from A+ to AAA so they must think highly of him

Latest updates:
Nick Burdi
Injury: Right hip inflammation.
Estimated return: Early May.
Summary: The right-hander was placed on the 15-day IL, retroactive to April 17, after feeling some discomfort with his final pitch at Toronto on April 16, during another scoreless outing.
The Yankees believe this to be a mild injury and expect Burdi to begin ramping up soon, but they're being cautious due to his lengthy injury history and the risk of altering his mechanics to compensate for the hip issue.
Tommy Kahnle
Injury: Right shoulder discomfort.
Estimated return: Mid-to-late May?
Summary: Following a setback in his rehab at Tampa, Fla., Kahnle resumed bullpens in early April and is expected to be facing live batters again during the week of April 22.
Lou Trivino
Injury: Reconstructive right elbow surgery rehab.
Estimated return: June
Summary: The right-hander underwent Tommy John surgery last May and was re-signed by the Yankees this past winter. He is rehabbing at Tampa, along with Effross.
Scott Effross
Injury: Recovery from back surgery.
Estimated return: After the All-Star break.
Summary: Rehabbing this offseason from Tommy John surgery, the right-hander was further delayed by a back procedure that developed during his ramp-up.

Thanks John, I was in the process of researching the injuries. Predicting pitching recovery is tough. There is a lot going on inside the arm and shoulder

Beeter is pitching well, as is Warren, but I think the Yankees want them as potential starters

Any reports on Clayton Beeter? He’s so inconsistent. No way you can stick him in the pen and risk walking the ballpark.

Agree with John. His stuff is great. His control isn’t

Beeter was wild in his last start and his mph was down by 3 mph! Poteet is an option

Poteet looked like Greg Maddux in Cleveland.

Give someone a shot. Santana got the last 2 outs of the 8th while testing Judge to the tune of 750 feet. Lasers.

Poteet looked like Greg Maddux in Cleveland. Definitely seems he should be brought up and tried out for longer. Need to go with who’s hot

Nick Burdi, who was placed on the injured list five days ago with right hip inflammation, recently received an injection and will begin playing catch and could throw off a mound by the end of this weekend, per Aaron Boone.

Never know how an injury will respond to an injection

Poteet, Durbin and Rumfield are all looking good in AAA. Seems like all three are worth a try

I don’t recognize the name JT Brubakaer Excellent pitcher. Recovering from Tommy John surgery from last year. Ah, JT Brubaker. Wouldn’t say a 30 year old starting pitcher with a career WAR of 0.3 and ERA of 4.99 is excellent.
