I had recorded Knicks game Saturday evening. Watched about half of it Saturday night - got up on Sunday morning and watched second half - nice win.
Left for Nats Park about 12 noon with my friend Andy to see Nats' matinee vs. the Cheatstros. This was my first season ticket game - the Nats played flawless ball and easily handled the Cheaters 6-0. What a pleasant surprise! I tried not to look at scoreboard, but did see that Yanks were tied 1-1 with Tampa.
Nats game was really quick - a kid pitcher named Mitchell Parker threw 7 shutout innings and only threw about 70 pitches! So I was home before 5pm, and watched the Yankees game I had recorded. As you know, a great win over Tampa with a little too much drama at the end.
Finally, late at night I watched the Rangers game, with a great win over the Capitals to start that series. So a rare 4-4 day for me. I hope Yanks and Knicks can keep the streak going today.

To a guy who had a great day yesterday, from a guy who didn't today.
Actually, though the game was frustrating, I took the day. It wasn't warm (like it looked), but it wasn't the worst Monday.

I just watched the second half of the Knicks game! I record every game and watch them when I can, same with the Bombers. The DVR is currently recording Yankees-A's, Rangers-Caps and Nats-Dodgers. I better go start watching at least one of them!

Two straight amazing Sundays!!!
I got home from teaching, flipped on the TV and set it to record the Knicks game, the Nats game, the Yankees game and the Rangers game.
I watched the Knicks - fabulous, exciting game and a great win. I then started watching the Nats game. A disastrous error by CJ Abrams (who is going to be a fabulous player for years, and already is) cost the Nats 6 runs in the first and they trailed 7-0 after three, so I went up and took a nap. I watched the rest when I awoke, and the Nats came back and won 12-9. Not bad!!
I then watched the Rangers finish off the Capitals in exciting fashion. I saved the Yankee game for this morning. Once again, 4-4!!! With an added bonus of seeing on the crawl that the O's had lost to KC by blowing a 9th inning lead!
I can't wait until next Sunday!!
