When I was in Law School those 50 years ago, I frequently had to read in the text books cases decided by a Federal Judge from New York named Learned Hand. My classmates and I would always smile when we heard the unusual name "Judge Learned Hand." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Learned_HandI immediately flashed back to that yesterday when Aaron Judge's "learned hand" deflected that relay from shortstop and prevented the Brewers from turning a double play on Alex Verdugo. The Yanks went on to score 7 runs in the inning after that. The Milwaukee announcers did not stop complaining about the non-call of interference for the rest of the game. I have decided that the play shall hereafter be referred to as "Judge's Learned Hand."
