I just don't have what it takes to survive through this in-game chatter, but you guys must have had SOME fun tonight (except for sf and Patton).
Good job.

Who loves my Royals, now? Oh, I see. . . you're a Royals fan now? Not just now, Niner....I've posted about the Royals all season.... --EDIT-- make that most of the season. To repeat a few of the things I've said..... I've followed the Royals closely for the last 30 seasons. The local radio station that airs baseball games plays Royals games. The Fox Sports Net station here plays Royals games. I love baseball and have ALWAYS listened to Royals games every chance I got. This season, I took on a 2nd favorite baseball team for the 1st time. David Glass is the worst owner in baseball..... there are VERY few Royals fans around here.... so I started rooting for the Royals instead of merely following them. I'm PISSED that the great rivalry between KC and the Yankees is long gone. I'm furious at what Glass has done to a once proud franchise. R.I.P. Ewing Kaufman. Last fall a local DJ (not a Royals' announcer) said "coming up at the bottom of the hour, we'll air the Royals' game, though I have no idea why we bother." The Royals AA team is 50 miles away from me, Niner.... so, for the record.... YES, I'm a Royals fan.

I only join in once in a while. It's no wonder how some of the board members have high post totals, with ones like: . . .1-0. . . . . . 2-0. . . . . . 2-1. . . good pitch . . . 3-1. . . he got hosed on that call you get my drift

More post totals don't mean much to most people but keep talking like a sore loser and whine all the way back 3 games.

The General dug a foxhole last night to symbolize where his army is going.....down in the ground. I guess I could have sat on the toilet and flushed it, would have gotten the same message across with a lot less effort.
I slept in the foxhole last night and woke up with a stiff neck and decided to stay home today to regroup, or work on my white flag.
I think that is was AB that said that catchers didn't matter to a pitching staff. I will have to respectfully disagree with him this time. Tek's abscence is killing our staff right now. Javy's past ball led to a run and was probably the difference in the game.
Our young bullpen infantry (Delcarman, Papelbon and Hansen) is getting tired and too much exposure. Our old bullpen infantry (Seanez and Tavarez) have acted like maggots this whole year. Timlin is wearing down.
Oh well, wait 'til 2008!!!!!!! The General will spend his off day working on the plan for 2008!! Lookout, here we come....in a few years.
Willie, where are you!!! Fetch me my ivory pistol!!!

It makes me feel better when we are losing and it gives you somebody to share the stress in a close game. Who cares about post count anyway. I know one thing, I have 0 posts on all the BoSox sites combined.
