Well, this game sucked. Boston losing takes some of the sting away. Some, but not much. Again, we leave too many runners on. Couldn't get that next big hit. Cano amazes, Melkey steps up and he's starting to show some of the power potential, Bobby continues to have fantastic AB's... but, we come up short. Moose held it together as long as he could and thus saved some of the pen. That's good. Bottom line? Too many wasted opportunities. Way too many! Right on dg. We gave it away. Or maybe, refused to take it back.

Steve Phillips thoughts in t-minus....... Tonight's loss hurts worse than Monday night's.

Alex Rodriguez could be the reason why they won and we lost. It wasn't just him everyone was terrible and Posada is struggling this series. If Cano and him switch in the lineup maybe things end differently this game. Oh well we gained one game this series and going in to this 3 days ago we would all be happy about that.

Can't blame it all on Alex. We had many chances to put them away and we didn't. We lost 2 games which we should have won. "BLOWN!" They say is a game of inches. Alex just missed hitting one out after he made the error, being caught right at the wall, and Giambi also missed another. Melky has shown the power that we may see as he developes. Let us hope he doesn't get into an Andy/Bubba swing, because that is going to hurt him. Cano, he never missed anything, except playing. He is still great and is really a pleasure to see him swing. He has one of the most perfect sings in all of Baseball. Moose didn't deserve this loss.
