A good outing by Wells. 7 IP 1ER 1BB 4K. If anyone had told me that would be his line, I would have laughed in their face! I would have laughed if they would have said that wells would end the 5 game losing streak. ;D Easy, Patton, it's not over yet

I love Alex's homeruns at the end of games. can't get a sac fly to save his life to win a game or make a routine fielding play but down 4 runs you can count on him to do something nice.

Alex almost made a difference in the outcome of the game. Figgins made a hell of a catch to screw us and then Giambi did the rest with the DP. Can't blame Alex for the loss. That he hit a late HR., yes, but it did bring us back closer. We just didn't execute well and we are finding ways to beat ourselves lately. So, let's not blame Alex...

Exactly, Johnny. I have yet to see complaints about a HR by Giambi, Posada, etc. when we're losing. I have yet to see complaints about a HR from ANYONE in baseball other than A-Rod.
Perhaps if someone else followed his example by hitting a HR it would have been a different game.
