Ok, two things are over.
1) Our ugly ball of April and our disastrous start, putting ourselves in a huge hole, 8 games under .500.
2) 10 game winning streak
It isn't the record we thought we would be on May 19th but hey, it could have been worst. Now its time to start playing consistant baseball and perhaps start winning the series and avoid any 3 game losing streaks. I don't expect to be dominating but hopefully expect to win a heck of a lot of games.
I think figuring out some of the individuals on this team is over. Now, Mr. Torre seems to have this team set as far as our everyday lineup and pitching rotations. Now it appears he will use the players to put us in a better situation to win.
Yes it was a game we should of won last night but now it is time to start moving on and play 5 months of good baseball. I'm happy... ;D

Hear. Hear.
Actuallly, last night was more of a "team" loss than the ones we had when we were struggling.
At least they're playing together, and winning often.
YANKEE BASEBALL!!!

Well guys, the bottom line is if Jorge picks up strike three and throws to first, they don't tie the score with the next batter.
Reed deserves credit for his baserunning hustle, so Womack shouldn't be too hard on himself.

I understand GF. That was a big blow. But we had numerous opportunities to win or overcome several costly mistakes. I was just stunned we didn't come up with a run in the 9th...
This hasn't been such as altogether great year for Posada, has it? Twice he didn't run out, thinking it was a HR but only managed single. Hitting is up and down, nothing spectacular. Made a couple of errors. Perhaps, we'll get the flip side of Posada of the year's past. Instead of shining in the 1st half like he always had and faltering at the end, maybe we'll get a better production from Posada at the 2nd half!

I thought we would really win it then or in extras. When the bases were loaded, I thought we were winning it, but we didn't. It wasn't like we would've won 20 straight (well I think they can, but...) so at least it was nice we had many oportunities to win. Its the first loss in 11 games, so Im not gonna be mad at it (I was, early, as you can read in my other post, but thats part of being a fan, isn't it?). Hopefully they will start another 10 game winning streak, but playing consistently, winning series and getting back in the hunt for the AL East is ok with me ;D. Yankeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!
