I saw Brien Taylor pitch in Greensboro when he tried to come back after getting hurt in that fight. To say it was ugly is the understatement of the century. It was really sad. What a waste.

He made a good chunk of change on his talent, I am sure it is blown by now but I would have liked to go through that kind of cash before I was 30.

Apparently, he spent the bulk of his signing bonus ($1.55M) on building a house for his parents (where he now lives, as well). A nice gesture, and I sure hope it's a nice house, but he's now a working-class stiff.
