Sue and I still have our 4 tickets behind home plate (though last row) for Sundays (originally in 420B but in 418 last year so we could have aisle).
Now that we have just bought a full season two-seat plan in 422, we retained the four Sunday seats, and we are interested in selling to friends. Foul balls never reach the upper deck in the new place because it's too far away. And you can't be farther away than row 14 in the grandstand.
However, the sight line from the seats is good, they're just a few sections to the right field side of home plate, and anyone who has attended will tell you it's a pretty stress-free experience now. Easy to get in the Stadium and to your seats (stairs, ramps, escalator, elevators); easy to get out; lots of food choices; lots to see. Wonderful pictures everywhere.
We are selling these Sunday seats for face value, which was $25 last year, but it may be $29 or so this year. We'll see for sure when we get the tix.
Friends have already taken some of the dates. And because the Sunday plan
no longer carries Opening Day or Old Timers, two of our "Sunday" dates are
during the week. Good for playing hookie though. Here is what is left:
4/03/2011 1:05 PM Tigers @ NYY (2)
4/17/2011 8:05 PM Rangers @ NYY
5/01/2011 1:05 PM Blue Jays @ NYY
5/15/2011 8:05 PM Red Sox @ NYY (2)
5/22/2011 1:05 PM Mets @ NYY
6/12/2011 1:05 PM Indians @ NYY
7/24/2011 1:05 PM Athletics @ NYY
7/27/2011 1:05 PM Mariners @ NYY
(Wed)7/31/2011 1:05 PM Orioles @ NYY
8/14/2011 TimeTK Rays @ NYY
8/23/2011 7:05 PM Athletics @ NYY
(Tues)9/04/2011 1:05 PM Blue Jays @ NYY
9/25/2011 1:05 PM Red Sox @ NYY
The (2) next to 4/3 and 5/15 mean we sold two of those and have two left.
If you're not interested, well, at least I took your mind off snow, ice
and cold for a few minutes. Hope this finds you all well,
Dan (Knux)
