I appreciate that you got rid of the riff raff that came here peddaling their wares. But I had a great response going and you got rid of him before I could use it. So here it is:
Do you have any dirt from the old Yankee Stadium? Now, that would be awesome. How about some bottled game used sweat from Pat Kelly circa Sept. 1995. Any idea how much that would go for? So glad you found Behind the Bombers to pedal your wares. Because we're BIG into that here. Do you have any hot dog wrappers that were flying around from the Chris Chambliss "Bedlam in the Bronx" game from '76? Because I would be willing to trade you my Bucky Dent game worn jock strap to get one of those. How about a Joe Torre game used green tea bag from the '96 ALCS? Gold right there. You must be the king of Yankee memorabilia. How about one of tose ARod #600 specially marked balls from that special 2010 season? Got any of those? Because there were about 300 foul balls that were marked for that special occasion and I didn't get one. Or....do you have one of ARod's game used needles? I know that they are rare, but I would take one if you had it.
Again, thanks for finding us at BTB and doing your homework about us. We love posts like this because we couldn't care less about the baseball aspect of it when there's so much damn cash to be made off it.
Jeter stuff should be going through the roof next month. Any chance we get a BTB discount since you're a BTB Buddy?

Classic older school BTB post Skinster, one which Phil would have loved. Kudos!

Well done, Skin.
Last night, I was surprised by an older couple (my age) who had bought the seats in front of us. They had bought them before and were (not eagerly, I think?) anticipating my cheers.
Guy turns to me in second inning, and says, "Why aren't you downstairs? There's a big sale on Yankee Memorabilia going on."
It surprised me that he thought I would have any interest in what the Steiner people are finding as they clean off the ends of the rakes and shovels used to prep the old place to be dismantled. Maybe he was just trying to get rid of me?
