...at least he found his "soulmate". Like watching a car crash on the highway in slow mo- you wann yell out and tell the driver to STOP, but then you think- this is gonna be fun to watch- so you let him go right into the @$$ end of a MACK truck.

frankie, Remember that Carl is a good pitcher. I know it's hard to remember that far back, but there's a reason that Cashman gave him $10M/year (before $10M/year went to stiffs).

In an interview with JT on YES he was asked if Carl or Iggie will get the OD start, he responded with "They are the ones who lineup right now... or it could be someone we don't know yet... but don't go ask Cash, cause he may not know yet either".
Hmm.. a trade in the works? Just something to gnaw on."

jb, Just as I get frankie in from the ledge, you push him out there again. ;D Yeah, I'm assuming he's the same guy, until and unless he shows otherwise. I think that makes more sense than assuming he's not the same guy. He's only 31, and with less wear and tear on his arm than most 31-year old pitchers. And, he's well-motivated.

Wow! Talk about a rough start with injuries. Lets hope Pavano pitches well in today's Final ST outing. If not, don't worry folks, we'll just burn out Villone and Proctor's arm in the opener!!! Ok, its not good news but the Yankees have not been a good April team anyway and hopefully we don't fall too far behind.
