Gary (Lefteroo) - Truly great gentleman with a magnificent memory.
1998 - we split a doubleheader with Detroit (opener went 17 innings!) 1-1
1999 - we lose to the hateds in a slugfest 1-2
2000 - we lose to Tampa Bay - Coney gets clobbered. 1-3
2001 - we lose a heartbreaker to Toronto in the ninth 1-4
2002 - AH! We beat the hateds in extra innings - best of the games so far. 2-4
2003 - We beat Cleveland - key play in 5th inning - bases loaded, two out single by Jason Giambi up the middle knocks in ALL three runners as Derek Jeter scores from first base - running with pitch, he got great jump and scored easily - losing pitcher who coughed up the single to Giambi? CC Sabathia! 3-4
2004 - We beat Tampa Bay as Alex hit monster HR to uppest deck in left. 4-4
2005 - Excruciating one run loss to Cleveland. Trailed by two entering ninth. Sierra HRs to cut deficit to one. Next two Yanks reach - Womack (he may have been a pinch runner) and Jeter - but Cano grounds into a dp, and after Sheffield walks, ARod hit a bullet to Peralta to end it. 4-5
2006 - We absolutely destroy Mark Buehrle and Chisox behind Mussina. Big day for Andy Phillips. 5-5
2007 - We see Shelly Duncan hit first major league HR as Kei Igawa beats Tampa Bay (Igawa may not have gotten the win). 6-5
2008 - The unforgettable Jose Molina walk-off hbp by the Oaklands. David Robertson got win. Muhlenberg alums take exception to us. 7-5
2009 - Robinson Cano's walk-off HR in extra innings defeats the Chicago White Sox on a rainy Friday evening. 8-5

John - thank you so much. I was actually planning to try to re-create this myself, so you saved me some work.
I'll add a few notes on the games you've posted.
1998 - I had the privilege of sitting with Phil and John (the day I met everyone for the first time) for the 17 inning loss, and with Brian B for the nightcap, which was won by Irabu despite a long HR by Bobby Higginson of Detroit.
1999 - The one Reunion I did not attend, but Irabu gave up lots of runs early, we made a spirited comeback and still lost to Boston by a run.
2000 - We got plastered unexpectedly by the Devil Rays. Jorge Cantu hit a long HR. Did I get that name right? Canseco may have also homered - he was to join the Yankees shortly thereafter.
2001 - a well-pitched game by Randy Keisler - Mo lost it in the 9th on a bloop hit by Brad Fullmer of the Jays. Mondesi and Delgado homered for Toronto.
2002 - walk-off extra inning win over Boston when Ventura's bases-loaded grounder between first and second scored Alfonso Soriano from third. Big hits by Sori and Nick Johnson to set the table. Winner? Steve Karsay, of course, who twice retired Doug Mirabelli with three on and two out to escape jams.
2003 - I described it well above.
2004 - Knuckles mentioned this one recently in his daily history lesson!
2005 - Tough loss. I was really depressed after this one. Young CF Melky Cabrera had trouble with some fly balls in the late afternoon sun.
2006 - Fun win over Chicago. Jim Thome hit a huge HR for the Chisox.
2007 - Nice win over Tampa in opener of a day-night doubleheader. Yanks scored incredible number of runs in both nightcap and the matinee on Sunday. Shelley Duncan's best days.
2008 - the Jose Molina walk-off.
2009 - the Robby Cano walk-off HR in the rain. Nick Swisher threw a White Sox runner out at home to preserve the tie.
UPDATES
2010 - We sat in right field, all the way near the end of the grandstand - still my Facebook picture - we beat the Houston Astros behind Phil Hughes. Jorge Posada homered below us. 9-5
2011 - I can't remember what happened that year. Oh, yeah, Derek Jeter went 5-5. His second of the five was career hit number 3,000. We beat Tampa and David Price. Well, not sure Price was the losing pitcher - I think it was the bullpen. Last out of game was grounder to third, handled by Eduardo Nunez. So great to have been there. 10-5
2012 - we come from behind to beat Baltimore. Steve Pearce got a big hit for us. JJ Hardy made a crucial error at SS on a ball hit, I believe, by Nick Swisher. This game became vital as it gave us home field advantage in the ALDS vs. Baltimore. 11-5
2013 - Our seven year winning streak ends as we're beaten by Minnesota. HR's off Phil Hughes by Trevor Plouffe and Pedro Florimon (with Aaron Hicks on base!). Hughes pitched well, but we lost 4-1 (I think). 11-6
2014 - a nice win over Cincinnati as we smashed Alfredo Simon, who came into the game with a good record. Brendan McCarthy pitched a masterpiece for us. 12-6
2015 - We lose to Seattle 4-3 as Robinson Cano hit two 2-run HR's. I had to leave this one early to attend a wedding in Lambertville, NJ. It was a pretty full day for the Lefteroos. Lucky I had to Jacob to chauffeur me. Wedding was very nice, BTW. 12-7
2016 - A dispiriting loss to the Hateds - we just didn't hit at all, and were victimized by Sandy Leon, of all people. 12-8
2017 - Here's the pitch to Frazier - driven deep to left field - Perez back, looking up, SEE YA! 13-8
So we've had a pretty good record at these reunion affairs. I look forward so much to attending every year and seeing everyone. Next year I look forward to seeing Gleyber Torres!

Looks like next year is the 20th anniversary of BTB Reunions.
I've made it to three so far....2008 with WifinIt, 2011 with a good friend of mine from NJ, and 2012 with my older daughter, then 11. I think I have the years right.. 2011 may have been one of the best days of my life.
I'd like to get there for the 20th anniversary. Everyone should make an attempt.

Back story. I remembered Lefty posting this years ago but figured it would be like searching for a needle in a haystack. I tried the BTB search feature. Searched on Reunion, Lefteroo and before 2010. The first item in the search return was this post. Amazing!

Very cool, John. I was so disappointed on Saturday when I learned from Maureen that you would be unable to attend. I hope all worked out OK for you.

My sister got so dizzy she had to go to the hospital ER Saturday morning by ambulance. Tests haven't found anything. She seems ok. Waiting insurance company approval for an MRI.

Sometimes dizziness just hits once in awhile. Fluids. Check your fluids. A bottle of Gatorade (perferably G2) can go a long way.

Years back I worked with a pregnant lady that was suffering from morning sickness. Doctor told her to drink Gatorade daily. It immediately worked. Personally I like G2. Every once in a while buy a case in Costco.

Pulling for your sis, John.
OTOH, I can't help but add that, at one point, the learned and laudable Lefty credited me with, virtually, winning the 2013 game.

"Learned and laudable Lefty" - high praise indeed coming from the knowledgeable Knuckles. Thank you, Dan. I think you are referring to the 2012 game - but I can't remember the circumstances. Perhaps your cheering disturbed the otherwise unflappable Pedro Strop.

One of the rare times I tired of waiting for the Scoreboard staff to get it going, and went all out "CHARGE!!!" myself.

Best wishes to your sister, John. Hydration is crucial. Dehydration can cause dizzyness, among other things.

Those are the best tasting sandwiches I've ever eaten, Mikey. I wish you would attend a Reunion again, sandwiches or no. We miss you badly at these events. We're not getting any younger - you've got to take advantage of the reunions whilst we still can.
