Didn't travel back there but saw 2 of Jersey's favorite sons. Friday saw Springsteen at Wrigley field. First time there. Fortunately reserved a parking spot a block away. Outside was a mess. Too few entrances open. Complicated more by the intersecting lines of people waiting to get into the roof top buildings across the street. Of course with the huge stage facing the grandstand they could only see the back of the stage. One woman walking around screaming at everyone with a bullhorn. Inside was fine. Unlike Fenway there is room move around and staff went out of their way to help us. Show was great of course. About 3 hours on a warm summer night.
Saturday a much shorter drive to a small theater in Rockford. Saw 89 year old Frankie Valli and his latest Four Seasons. Still sounds great with full vocal range. All classic songs from the group and solo career plus a tribute to Motown groups. Another great show.

Frankie Valli - 89 years old and still active. Respect.
Four Seasons. Was Bob Gaudio on it's current roster? He and Valli are the only living members from original roster.

No these are all young guys. Probably in their 20's or a liitle older.but their vocals were very good and the choreography though sometimes over the top fit in pretty well. The band was fairly young except for a long time keyboard player.

Frankie had a vocal range of 3 octaves, which was great for his time.
For comparison
Chanté Moore 8 octaves Vitas 7 octaves Minnie Riperton 7 octaves Grimes 6 octaves Mike Patton 6 octaves Rachelle Ferrell 6 octaves Dimash Qudaibergen 6 octaves Axl Rose 5.5 octaves Annie Haslam 5 octaves Ville Valo 5 octaves Tim Foust 5 octaves Mariah Carey 5 octaves Yma Sumac 4,8 octaves Pat Benatar 4.5 octaves Kate Bush 4.5 octaves Prince 4.5 octaves Laura Branigan 4 octaves Freddie Mercury 4 octaves Tina Turner 4 octaves Laura Branigan 4 octaves Ariana Grande 4 octaves Deniece Williams 4 octaves Steve Perry 4 octaves Céline Dion 4 octaves Christina Aguilera 4 octaves Jonas Kaufmann 3.5 octaves Luciano Pavarotti 3.5 octaves Whitney Houston 3 octaves Maria Callas 3 octaves Adam Lambert 3 octaves Rihanna 3 octaves Bobby Hatfield 3 octaves Sia 3 octaves
