Like Al Pierotti, he has played three professional sports. Major league baseball has been one of them.
3 seasons in the majors, 1st half of the 20th century.

Ernie Nevers.
Football has been his main claim to fame. He is both in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame. He was a major league pitcher for the St. Louis Browns(1926-1928) - 6-12, 4.64 ERA. He played professional basketball too - for the Chicago Bruins of the American Basketball League(the forerunner of the NBA).

I did know that Nevers played baseball and football, but forgot about him. Did not know about basketball.

As a pitcher, he is probably the best remembered for giving up two of Babe Ruth's 60 home runs in 1927.
