Question similar to my previous one.
Two men - A and B. They have been teammates on the high school team. Both got fame in sport later.
A is in the Baseball Hall of Fame. B in other sport's Hall of Fame(professional sport) - the same sport he played together with A on the high school team.
Not Frank Robinson and Bill Russell(mentioned by Dutch in an answer to my previous question).
Name A and B.
BAMN
P.S. My usual "reserve clause": If there is more than one answer to my question, I reserve myself the right to accept as a correct one only this one I have in mind.

Sorry, both answers wrong.
College Football Hall of Fame doesn't count. The same with Minnesota Twins Hall of Fame.

Was A a pitcher or position player? Although I don't think that will help me.

Clue:
A's grandfather and B's father have migrated to the USA from neighboring countries.

Do the two countries neighbor the US, or just each other?

Chinese censoring is keeping me from participating in this one. I can’t search the web without using my limited data plan. Wireless won’t allow it

A - Phil Niekro B - John Havlicek
Phil Niekro and John Havlicek have been teammates on Bridgeport High School basketball and baseball teams. According to one source, Joe Niekro was also their teamate.
Phil Niekro's grandfather came to the USA from the city which is in Poland now but then belonged to Russian Empire. John Havlicek's father(born in the Austria-Hungary) came to the USA from then-Czechoslovakia(earlier a part of Austria-Hungary).

I never knew this, Zbi.
I once ran into John Havlicek in a movie theater in Philly - the Celtics were in town to play the Sixers in the playoffs the next night- must have been circa March 1968. He was with Tom "Satch" Sanders and Emmette Bryant, but they kind of separated in the lobby so as not to call attention to themselves. At one point, Hondo just happened to walk past me, and I very quietly said, "John." He looked down at me, and I whispered, "Good luck tomorrow night," and he thanked me and kept walking.
The movie was "Where Eagles Dare" with I think Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood.

I finally solved my dilemma. All my browsers were using Google search, which in general I prefer. Switched one to Bing and the censors leave me alone ( of course there is a travel advisory for China. In consistent law enforcement and potential to be barred from leaving. That would be like “The ransom of Red chief”. USA would require China to pay them to take me ba k!)
