When the request was made to offer up the worst pitcher of all time on a baseball FB group I'm in (Jimbue said Kei Igawa to this), I answered with Anthony Young, who lost 26 straight decisions with the Mets from May 1992 through July 1993.
Not unreasonable, and I've gotten 4 likes, but one of them is named Susan Michelle Young. Relative, maybe?

I used to say it was Jack Russel during his years with the Red Sox, cause I usually to trash the Red Sox or Orioles. He wasn’t bad when he played for other teams but he was 41-94 for them

Some guy named Ted Wingfield notched just one strike out in 70 innings for the 1927 Red Sox I learned in that FB string.
I too like to read and post about poor performances by Boston, obviously the Mets too.
What I really enjoy is guys who excelled in the Bronx, but struggled badly in Beantown. Red Ruffing, the winningest ever right-hander in Yankee history (231-114 for the Yanks) went 39-96 in Boston, losing 47 games in 1928 and 1929.
As to the Mets, well, I love the positive play we got from Cone, Gooden, Strawberry, etc.
