Gerrit Cole officially goes on the 60-day IL in Yankees' Opening Day roster moves, meaning he is out until at least May 27 (which was expected).

assuming he comes back healthy, that arm rest could pay nice dividends come august and september. i’m sure they will be extra careful but he should be full strength by then.
