Following today’s doubleheader, the Yankees returned “27th Man” RHP Cody Poteet to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Following today’s doubleheader, the Yankees returned “27th Man” RHP Cody Poteet to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. What a great surprise he was (at least to me). Hopefully we see him again

He looked like a Cy Young candidate.
Is Luis Gil OK? Seemed like he got skipped.

Looking forward. I hope to be looking forward to Gil starts all year. Luis has one of the best fastballs on the planet. Friar wouldn't mind seeing him as our closer.

Gil has a live arm, but no command. He'd be a disaster as a closer. And after last night, I don't want to see him on the mound until and unless he can start throwing strikes.
