Best hit of the game was the Grishman bunt. That was a thing of beauty.
Hard to argue with the overall win-loss record, but it seems to me the 2024 April Yankees leave a lot of baserunners stranded. Judge heating up will change some of that.

The sixth inning was so absolutely infuriating.

Comments on last night's game: - Grayson and Schmidt pitched great games - Boone dod a good job managing. - Judge just missed taking a couple ball out of the stadium - Stanton is being unfairly criticized. He was caught between a rock and hard place. He would have been able to return to first safely if the ball was caught. Granted, he doesn't have any speed, but all of us know that. - Yankees need better options than Jones and Trammel. I think Durbin should definitely replace Jones.

For a 34 year old in that type of shape, how can Stanton be that slow? Is the game so fast that he looks abnormally slow or is something else going on? I've got 20 years on him and am not a professional athlete and I am pretty sure I can run faster. He looks like he is running in quicksand. He may be the slowest baserunner I have ever seen in MLB. Bartolo Colon and Sidney Ponson could both beat him even if they gave him a head start.

It based on the cameras that are installed in all the ballparks. Keep using your abacus 🧮. No sense changing now. 😉

Rizzo looks faster.
I think McCann was the slowest Yankee I've seen.

Top of the 8th, I love that swing by Volpe!

Rizzo looks faster. I think McCann was the slowest Yankee I've seen. Rizzo looks pretty slow to me, but the numbers are close.

That is too bad about another loss. Even though the offense looks a bit lackluster sometimes, unless things change when the Yanks get Cole back, pitching is going to be the biggest problem, especially against a team like the Orioles. That doesn’t mean that they could not win the next two. Hopefully they can. Everybody loves a winner.
