VIERA, Fla. -- The Washington Nationals may have to start the season without Jose Guillen, their top slugging outfielder.

The right fielder was diagnosed Friday with damaged tendons in his left wrist after taking an MRI on Thursday.
Dr. Edward St. Mary, a hand specialist who examined Guillen's hand, recommended surgery. The Nationals and Guillen are seeking a second opinion before making any decisions.
If surgery is performed, Guillen is expected to miss up to three months.
Guillen, who had left shoulder surgery in November after getting injured during a slide in June, hit .283 with 24 homers and 76 RBI for Washington last season.

Soriano is going to have to play the outfield now that Guillen has come down with an unexpected injury. The problem is that by Soriano playing in the WBC tournament, he won't have the necessary practice in the OF so as to be ready to play it once he gets back. He will be playing 2B. Many problems will arise with these games. This is an example!

The update is that Guillen now does not need surgery and may be ready by opening day. The team is a continuing soap opera.

Sori needs to realize he looks like an a$$ and go to the of when he gets back.
