Hello everyone...I created this thread to spread the word about a possible BTB fantasy baseball league...the league will most likely be on cbssportsline...if anyone would like to join send me a pm, I will inform you guys when I have enough member to start a league(8?)...Then if you want we could choose the comish...or if you guys are too busy I could do it.
Last year when I came to Phil with this he said he could make a fantasy section on the site where we can talk transactions and such.
So far I have three willing participants...me, AB, and Jimbue. Like I said, just PM me or reply to this thread if you are interested.
PS. sorry if I put this on the wrong board. I just wanted everyone to see it.

I know absolutely nothing about Roto leagues, but I'll give it a shot. What the heck, why not!

I am a die-hard roto junkie. I am already in with a group in a Yahoo league. But I might be interested in doing the Sportsline one too.

The comish watches over trades, sets the draft date, the trade deadline, and sometimes sets how the stats will be scored....basically he sets all the rules for the league.
So far we have six teams: 1)me 2)AB 3)Jimbue 4)Skinny 5)J-rem 6)Figon
We still have plenty of spots open for those who are interested.

'Preciate the invite fellas, but I'm going to pass. Played on ESPN's fantasy leagues for a number of years. Did pretty well. Got me a victory t-shirt and all that.
Time constraints is mostly the reason. The season itself certainly takes up it's share of it for me, along with coaching the game.
I wish you all the best of luck with it. Keep me posted as to how it goes though. It should be interesting.

I'd love to, but I think I'm going to have too much going on in the spring and at least early summer to put in the necessary time.

Ok, guys. Any advice for a worse than novice roto player. I realize I'm going to get my butt handed to me, but I'd like to be at least a little competitive. Any good web sites out there? I heard that 'fresh meat' comment, too!

I am really sorry for this inconvenience guys but CBS will NOT be the host for our fantasy baseball league due to its $130 fee.
Our options include Yahoo and ESPN...which would you guys prefer?
I think EPSN will have more features including the new live scoring...but its up to you.

Okay...Yahoo it is...my next question...when would you prefer the draft?...before spring training, during spring training, or after spring training?
